[ so this is awkward. like actually super awkward. because allison's relationship to dean before had been a spur of the moment, ankle-deep in zombie guts sort of bonding. it had been a moment of weakness on her part and his acceptance of that, understanding of it. she didn't have to say anything, before, because he just got it because he was a hunter and knew what wonderland was like.

[Castiel's intention had been to find his way to Dean's side as soon as he revived from death, in order to both question him and make certain that he was all right. That would have been fine, if the event hadn't rewritten their memories for a few days.

Thinking himself a normal, teenage human who attended school and interacted with others in a vaguely ordinary way -- it had been strange. But the recovery from that isn't enough to deter Castiel from his original goal, and he visits Dean's room frequently in search of him.

But Dean is nowhere to be found.

Castiel imagines that's no coincidence, and so he makes the decision to use an unorthodox method of contact -- for him, at least. He calls Dean's phone and leaves a message.]

Dean, I need to talk to you. [He considers adding a threat (don't make me track you down), but decides to leave it short and simple.]

of course, the answer cas does end up gettin' isn't any closer to an actual answer. but at least it confirms that he's alive and relatively well... ish. sort of. ]
