He'd been dodging questions and being weirder than usual, and as much as she likes Dean, she's not that into him. Which is funny since he's her type, but maybe after the whole apocalypse thing, it had changed her. She's not so shallow despite the fact he's nice to look at. ]

[ She's almost surprised at how quick he's up on her, and there's that sudden need to put space between them, leaning back and getting a hand up to grab his wrist. It's not right, and maybe she's starting to realize this wasn't such a good idea. Still, her fingers curl gently, like she means to give him more even as she pushes his hand away from her. ]

[ she tries to be insulting -- and maybe it does sting -- because next thing he's pressing her into the bed, sliding a knee onto the mattress himself as he hovers above her. and let's be real, no amount of shoving or pushing is going to deter him.

[ Even when she struggles, there's really not much that can be done, and for a split second, there's the fear that he's just going to take what he wants without actually caring what she says. Charlie hadn't thought the Dean she'd met those handful of times before was like this, but maybe she'd been wrong. She looks up at him, eyes wide, and-- no, she couldn't have been that wrong.

[ his hand is at the side of her face again, just as it had been in the beginning, but all dean does is let his fingers slide over the smooth of her cheek, caressing. she really is pretty, but at the end of the day, her best bet is being a means towards hurting sam. nothing more, nothing less.
so another beat later, during which dean huffs a quiet laugh, he draws back from her entirely. ]
But it doesn't change the truth. Just think about it the next time he's all nice towards you. It's not you he sees.
[ turns out, demons don't always need to lie to twist the knife. ]
